I bet you quite a large number of played have their forum password the same as their account password. It would literally take all of 15 seconds for a forum admin to check the control panel and find that info if they wanted to.

Luckily the devs haven't lied to us before so we have reason to trust them.

Thats a real shame that his char has been deleted.
I dont know too much about character restoration, but if its something the Staff is capable of doing, I really dont understand why they have a no restore policy.
Id imagine their reason would be due to concerns of abuses of restore or an overwhelming amount of requests.
Either way, it should be an option, it was Blizzlike afterall to have a character restored when an account was stolen or deleted.

You're right. Good thing the staff here has been nothing but trustworthy and forthcoming with help and information.

i love playing on servers where my character could be deleted at any time, it really makes me want to play on the server even more!!

this has happened too many times for it to be considered a one time incident, fix it.

This is rather scary hearing this. When you invest days or even months into a character to which it can be gone in a matter of seconds is not a fun thought. Character restoral needs to be addressed.
