Nostalrius is your best bet for Vanilla WoW. Go alliance if you plan to PvP.

It's good to see not all horde are clueless buffoons, they need more people like you.


As for weather or not this guy should join IMO, this is the best vanilla server out there.

So far this seems like a good private server. I don't have experience with others, but thus far (a few days into it) it infact feels very much identical to playing on Vanilla Blizzard servers. The population is good, if anything it is a bit high (some quests are hard ... though not impossible ... to complete due to competition over spawns). But I think that is a good thing. And so far, the people I have interacted with seem decent enough. I haven't seen any bugs either, other than my quest tracker not always updating for each item/kill that I get (my quest is updating, though...).

I wouldnt waste my time. If you do roll HORDE you will have much easier time leveling.
