I say both. Some areas are horrible and can be skipped with dungeons. Other areas have tons of quests and are far more superior than dungeon.

A mixture of both should be the best!

I say both too. You will get sometimes dungeon's quests. So you can go an do these dungeons. Also it's important because you get good gear from dungeons that will be really helpful for leveling.

questing is the fastest way to level in vanilla, hit dungeons for quests and gear but farming them is pretty slow for leveling up.

The best part about vanilla was the social layer.
I recall that we have spent a lot of time finding groups, travelling to dungeon, talking in party chat.
The maxed out xp/h rate was not that important back then.

All my yes.

I understand that many people are here for the raiding, but I hope I'm not the only one who is excited about Nost because they promise a fully polished 1-60 experience aswell.

Btw, no summoning stone teleport. That was BC. I hope one of you is rolling a Mage.

You mean Warlock? :P

Not exactly. I see the relation but I mentioned Mage for the portals, which is generally more useful than the Warlock summon.

Portal to set places more useful than free teleport anywhere?

Seems legit.

Most dungeons are worth doing once if you have a good group, mostly for the quests and gear upgrades. More than once is almost almost always going to be slower than questing.

Personally I find a combination of questing and grinding to be the quickest.

To answer the actual question, mix of both. I'm just gonna follow where the game takes me. If it sends me to an area with a dungeon then that dungeon will be done!

Well if you have a level 60 then dungeon running your alt on a separate account is the way to go.

But for the first time, questing beats dungeon running by a long shot. Killing mobs + doing quests = no time required to get a group going.
