It makes no sense to have entire portions of the game unavailable to Alliance because Horde is running amok. When you aren't able to play, it's not a fun game anymore.

But the elitist jerks of the Horde will never understand that until there are no more Alliance to gank.

Protip: Just avoid Sorrow Hill and Searing Gorge. Horde camp out in Sorrow Hill because it is right next to UC so they can go there between queues. It is not a safe place to level. Searing gorge is popular because people afk on flights on the way to instances so they are easy kills.

Avoid those 2 places and leveling will be 100x easier.

Sorrow hill is so ally dominated lol. They have an ally camp right next to it. I tried aoe farming the area when I was leveling over a few days one week but it is literally impossible because ally run by it everyone fuckin 2 minutes. Makes the place impractical for horde.

Yeah dude, it's so awful missing out on my favorite quest, Kill 8 winterspring ursas, kill 8 winterspring shamans, kill 8 winterspring avengers, and 8 winterspring avengers. Such deep lore, almost as good as bring me two yeti horns, or the 8 uncracked chimera horns, or the horn from brumeran, or bring me 4 rocks from a canyon.

You were lied to, the questing experience was shit. The higher end area quests are a mess.

It's a pretty rough world out there. Even my 25 alt is getting killed by ?? hordies in areas with no horde quests at all. If this was my first char and all I heard is that it gets much worse, not better, I might be a bit deterred. I sure understand why some people give up.

However, posting here on these forums isn't gonna make it any better. These griefers want to lick all the tears of every person complaining here, that's what gets them off. I'm just smiling at every guy who camps flightpoints and roams around killing anything that moves because they are oftentimes doing it 24/7, whereas I am just spending a couple minutes every time I get killed. Adds up to much less.

The real problem with the world pvp is that alliance has easy, instant queues for battlegrounds (I imagine, I don't do battlegrounds) and thus have no need to roam around any of the world pvp zones, looking for honor. Horde, on the other hand, has to do this to be competitive. There are no alliance level 60 pvp groups running around, killing everything, so the Horde honor collectors get to roam freely.

Anyway, don't quit, Spam. I would imagine people get bored of this at some point when they realize there's more to life than farming honor and killing grey stuff.

-Level Difference
It is possible to kill players much higher level than you. You can hit them. There are certain class match-ups that will work in your favor despite the level difference. It's much easier killing a higher-level player than a high-level monster.

Unfortunately this does not work on Nostalrius. The resists and stuff work differently from retail. In retail you could easily kill a level 60 warrior with a level 50 mage, but here it's like fighting a level 60 mob - all of your spells are resisted.

The "frequency of PvP combat decreases when you get higher levels" also obviously does not apply here :P

The rest of the tips are good I guess, but they simply don't work with a massively overpopulated server with too many bored / ambitious people.

There are no safe zones at all for leveling 50+, the only safe place to level is in dungeons. Either level during crazy hours, farm dungeons or accept getting killed 5-10 times an hour.

Which isn't surprising at all when the honor received from killing players 10 levels lower than you is way way way higher than it ever was on retail. So not only is it "easy honor", but its so high that you have to be stupid to avoid exploiting it.
