firstly becasue nostalrius is very bugged server
then you play with 1.12 talents and lots of 1.12 items that were added with 1.11 that didnt even suffer a "nostalrius 1.4 itemsisation" gg
then getting pvp ranks is 10000000 % easier than on retail. and engineering is bugged and everything else is bugged

The last 5 posts I've seen from you were bug complaints/faction complaints or discussing a large amount of bugs that seem like they're game-breaking or they're plenty of small ones that greatly affect you. I don't see you talking about the specifics so it leaves people skeptical.

Honestly, the quality can improve a lot if you're specific with proof, but you just look like you're spreading misinformation. If this is the reason why you post, you can do much better at convincing someone with a little effort.

I might go off topic here, but everything I'll review will shine some light on why Nostalrius Begins is not a 1.4 server, the problems that come with updating to a new patch for content releases, and more information that may be relevant.

Nostalrius Begins is a 1.12.1 blizzlike (x1) private server with content progressively released at patch 1.4 or around patch 1.4. You're on 1.12.1 because the core is suited for 1.12.1. It is the last patch before TBC (excluding 1.12.2) so more work has been done on the core and database than a 1.4 emulator would. Instead of reinventing the wheel by retrieving a new core for every patch and making the users download a new patch upon every release like Blizzard has, this allows the developers to work with content from 1.4 and post-1.4. This being said, it is much easier to work with the patch right now because the test realm players can report bugs in upcoming content for the developers to apply fixes and mechanics.

Issuing content without having testers and active developers is like giving your child an untested prototype car without a break peddle, half a steering wheel, stick shift when he knows automatic, and having 50% or more functions be wired incorrectly. He'll fix it over time, but why didn't you get a car that has been tested, tried, withstood the test of time, and isn't bleeding-edge?

So yes, you're stuck with 1.12.1 talents, spells, models, terrain, and everything else that is included in the MPQ files that cannot be touched by the developers without releasing their own patch. If you know nothing about the countless times a programmer has reinvented the wheel either from learning or undocumented programs, then you cannot complain about your immersion being ruined by being on patch 1.12.1 with content adjusted to ATTEMPT a replica of patch 1.4.

Your PvP answer is opinionated and you go against your opinion by saying a profession heavily used in PvP is bugged. Not explaining what is bugged. You just cast a blanket over the entire profession itself.
