I never felt that LFG is the problem I have with Wow, it's actually the anonymity we have because of the crossserver-stuff. In Vanilla I knew every Big name, in Draenor I don't see a Person twice.
Draenor isn't a MMORPG, it's a singleplayer-experience with Hotjoin PvE and PvP.

EDIT: No, I'm not mad. Ganking from 1-48 is the same as it was in Vanilla Wow: Back in Vanilla, Redrige and Duskwood were also full of Noob Horde ganking greys.

I really think Blizzard is missing out on such a massive market here, its clear that there's a serious market for people who want to play like the game was in previous expansions, all they would have to do is release their own "private server", make it quality and charge some fee for people to access it and they would make bank, drive out the private server market and make a large portion of their fanbase happy. Its clear people are in the market for this kind of content, Lineage 2 did this to great success adding their classic servers, Runescape did this with 2007scape and that's now more popular than the MAIN GAME. I'm sure there are other examples of this being done and working well but I don't know any off the top of my head, its honestly frustrating that Blizzard is trying to tell us what we do and don't want, release a fucking poll Blizzard and you'll see how much we really do want this.

At the end of the day they're trying to steer WoW in an entirely different direction and are shifting toward a new demographic. They let the little dogs handle the nostalgia engine.

There's too much of a pipeline where stupid ideas easily get a pass anyway and good ideas are left to rot in the gutter because they don't fit their quota.

WoW was never expected to be this big, even now. I think that has a lot to do with the current state of affairs and why they won't even touch this idea. It would be too much for them to maintain, not with their current structure.

There are too many cooks in the kitchen, which is why there is this constant push for "efficiency" over a quality experience.
