1. Working as a social worker for addicted patients going through second stage rehab
2. Masters Degree in Sociology, Associates in Psychology
3. I am. Going strong for the past 6 years. The talks of marriage are on the table.
4. I have a select group of people i associate with due to the work I do. But yes, they would gladly allow me into their home.
5. I have been playing the acoustic guitar for the past 14 years. That is my second love, right behind my girlfriend of course.
6. I am. Like I have stated, I work as a social worker with teens and young adults with addictions. Helping them overcome the terrible desire to "get high".
7. I would like to assume I have a decent grasp on the knowledge of day to day life.
8. I do not struggle with weight problems. I do not hit the gym ALL the time, but I eat healthy, I have a balanced life style and stay active.
9. I would definitely be more active with my guitar. I would have more time thinking about my writing, more time to view cultural differences. More time to study sociological diversity and the like.
I am sorry this may be rude but, isn't Sociology, Associates in Psychology quite useless? How do you even make money from that?
studying the phrase you just used to ask me why i chose the profession i chose. do you know why you asked me that? do you know what caused your brain to react to the readings you just read and make you psychologically feel the need to ask that question? you may think it is useless or that some one can not make money doing it. sure... i dont make a lot of money using the psychology degree i have working with addicts, but that is where sociology come in. i find many different ethnic, religious, wealth, backgrounds coming through the office i work in. i find many young people, many young adult, and the number of elderly. i study the reasoning behind there choice to use drugs or alchohol. those studies in turn help classify, or make others better understand the classifications of life. such as, the poor, the middle class, the working class, the wealthy and the powerful.
sociology goes way deeper than you may think or understand. am i going to strike it rich by writing a book about my findings? maybe, but that stems from the research i have done over the past couple years. psychology on the other hand, i am going to be starting on my bachelors this fall and soon go for my masters. i would like to get a doctorate in both fields of science. i am fascinated how the human brain works, i am fascinated how we as a species move together, work together, and even hate together.
so thats what i do... i study people..
