Definitely try mailing a GM you frequently see on the Support section and dealing with bans, like Raazi or Igen. The admins have RL responsibilities and probably get hundreds of PMs a week

As a personal friend and guild mate to Pernille I can 100% verify that he has in no way bought gold - hell half the time he has been up here sitting right next to me when we have been playing together.

Also if you saw our guilds facebook group you would know that Pernille in no way would do anything like this, it is full of constant updates from Pernille about all the great/bad deals and stories he encounters daily as a trader - including the bad ones like the one where he confused gold with silver.

So yeah all I can say is please have an extra look at this guy because he has been good for the community and great to have in our guild.

I have been banned nine days today. The GMs were forthcoming and replied within a couple of hours. I was told to PM an admin which I did right away, but so far I have heard nothing.

I think he meant that he could vouch for me, which is of course not a concrete proof. As I explained above, I'm not exactly sure what got me banned. What I think is most likely, is that it was the 60 g+20 g transactions discussed above, since it looks like I got 80 g without giving anything in return. If that's what has offended the anti cheating measures, then it should be easy to verify, since I have a screen shot from some weeks ago which proves that I did buy that runecloth at 85 g from the same guy who later traded me back the 80 g.

Glad to see justice prevail. Unfortunately this situation will probably happen again as their anti-cheat system has a difficult time with false positives. In-game trades and free gold should not be deemed as a real life paid transaction. Hopefully they update their anti-cheat system to not flag this as bought gold and avoid having to deal with threads where people just think the individual is crying wolf.

I'm glad this got resolved.

Seemed strange, that someone who stayed low(er) level and instead focused on professions,
would make use of any shady methods like that.

This is also a good example of how the people who run this server
are able and willing to rectify their "mistakes" - even though it may take a while.

The guy who got the 85g is my guildie, I was there when this happened and we were all laughing about it on guild chat. My guildie never gave him the 85g back btw.
