I wanted to play a dwarf priest just because of Fear Ward. Then I created on on ED and looked at it. No, just no so ugly. I choose Undead not because of WoTF, but because of looks.

Racials are not really gamebraking, but playing a race you don't like is just bad. Certain classes and playstyles fit some races best. Skinny Undeads, Humans and Night Elves are imo best for casters like priests, mages and warlocks. Beefy Dwarves, Orcs andTaurens are best for warriors and mailplate wearing classes. Some combos like UD rogues, gnomes warriors and mages can be cool.

It's an MMO alright.. an MMORPG. Massive Multiplayer Roleplaying Game. Your character isn't just numbers. If you wanna be one of those lame-os who thinks so, go right ahead but don't degrade anyone by saying we think it's a "Fashion game" and using shit statements like that.

@Storm What richard said, let everyone decide what is important instead of doing your best to skew race/class representation even further.Remember that a part of the so called "glorious vanilla" experience was not having metagame knowledge about every conceivable dilemma.

This is what I've been saying all over the forum, and it's what I do. Racials will not make a big enough difference in the game to be dictating your choices for you, and they certainly won't make a race you don't even like fun to play. You'll be happier with crappy racials on a race you like than with better racials on a race you don't like.

Some people like to min max and be competitive some people are more casual or others like to chose their race for looks . You can`t dictate what decisions people will make, everyone has their reasons.
