I think this is awesome as well, community VoIP is great. As for which is best, try playing EVE Online nad you will not actually care eventually, you use both too much

TeamSpeak does not show your IP address to others, only the server-admin has access to this.

Can you create a mumble server instead? Much more simple & minimalistic client as well as server software.
