Sounds and Addons are downloadble from Blizzard approved fansites such as curse and clearly fall under modifications that are normally accesible to players.
That it is intentional is just obvious, why else would the client even look in the sound folder before goint to the mpq files? Why would Blizzard not ask their partners to remove the cheats from their sites?
Im done talking about this to you since you are frankly rude and a pain to discuss with. I think it is fairly clear to anyone reading this thread now that adding .wav files to the sound folder is ok. Under the same principle that addons are ok.
Those sites have been shown to host questionable content hundreds of times, I remember when you could get MPQ files on curse (Although that did not last long).
So an add-on can interact with said folder.
Actually I was perfectly civil, then you repeated yourself and I was brash, then you repeated it a third time and I was rude. At least this time you are actually adding to your argument hence me not being rude.
To clarify I think its perfectly fine and would do it, no GM is going to ban you. But that is irrelevant to what I am saying.
