Agreed, the number of dudes shaming people will probably be pretty low tho. Usually servers just let people put it under general discussion. But hey what do I know lmao

If ninjalooters wants to ruin their own experience by ninjalooting it's only good for the majority playing on the server since then that specific ninjalooter won't be very successful as people who really cares will know about it.

Ninjalooting in World of Warcraft stopped being a punishment once Blizzard introduced name/race/faction/server-change, what people don't realize about Vanilla WoW is that, to be successful you need to have connections if you want to run successful dungeons/raids and that doesn't really pay off very well if you're a ignorant prick with daddy-issues or a ninja-looter just for the fun of ruining the experience for others.

So for the upcoming ninja-looters on Nostalrius, I wish you best of luck.

How will enchant scammers be handled ? Back in Vanilla this was also a big issue as people would fake to be enchanters and when u traded mats they just stole them. I recall them not getting much punishment in retail but I believe this is a situation where GMs should interfere.

It's a private server, population will be smaller than on retail, we will know each other. If anybody try to scam people we will know It, he'll be rejected and he won't be able to join any guild, group and stuff. Here's how It will work IMO. And have fun creating and new character since you have to level 1-60 again.

Wow, really? Just let the ninja looters ninjaloot away if they want to. Only way that happens is if you don't have master looter on(sometimes you forget, it's inevitable) or it's a chest. They will be named and shamed and not be able to join another guild. Really worth it :p

GMs are only concerned if some kind of exploit or hack is used. "Stealing" items with ML or need rolls doesn't count, nor does someone keeping all your materials after you've traded it to them. A community is responsible for deciding who it can trust, who it can't, and warning other players.

One trick people used to do is use CoD, but instead of sending you the item you wanted to buy, they'd send you some garbage concealed inside a gift box. Players were actually stupid enough to buy mystery boxes from total strangers that may or may not contain the item they wanted to buy. Usually, it'd just be 1x Linen Cloth, lol. So, unless you're an idiot, reject the offer and tell them to send the item directly where it's visible, not in a gift box.

I'd say leave it to the community, and have a board here for it. But require evidence. How easy it can be to take 5 people and make claims someone is a Ninja to sour their server reputation.
