How do you guys stand the ganking?

find an isolated area (that is preferably close to a graveyard) and just grind until level60. if you're having to constantly compete with opposite fraction and even same faction for quest items/mobs its not worth the time. And then the added constant ganking makes it not worth the time. In all of my years of playing wow ive never had such a hard time doing quests and ive never been ganked so much. Its unblizzlike. So the traditional way of leveling becomes a waste of time if your goal is to get to 60 as fast as possible.

How many hours did it take to gain a level in the early 30s using that method?

well its been awhile since i leveled and it was on horde so its probably worse for alliance. i just remember telling myself " this is a huge waste of time" multiple times when it was taking extremely long to complete quests just because of having to compete for mobs because all of the areas are overpopulated. you also make more gold by grinding. you can grind on beasts and sell the grey items that they drop for a lot of money. at 60 youre going to have to grind or make money somehow to be able to buy gear upgrades too. if ever you manage to play during off hours when the population is at its lowest then maybe questing will become a bit easier but from my experience of leveling i feel like its a huge waste of time.

Group up for instances or just group in general. You're a lot harder to kill together. Also, grind in an isolated area where other players don't go works well.

WPvP in WoW is pretty much just about killing people that you have a massive advantage over, rouge/mage/warlock (seriously wtf is up with the amounts of undead rouge/mage/warlock? Are these people pathetic enough to choose race and class exclusively based on getting an advantage over other people in PvP?) going against any other class, or people grouping up killing lonely people, or people higher level killing lower level. I really don't see how that's fun.

For me, while ganking other people is a little fun, it's massively outweighed by the frustration of getting ganked. I would play on a PvE server in a heartbeat if there was a decent vanilla PvE server around.

When would you say the off and peak hours of this server are? I'm on vacation right now so i can play pretty much any time. Should i play early in the morning, late at night or in the middle of the day when most people are working to get the lowest pop?

Because if you can go around 1-60 and barely get ganked, you are on a dead server. If you happen to be on a populated server then that just proves people are apathetic and don't want to do anything other than que up for instanced pvp. When people are actually out in the world doing stuff like this, it shows that the server is healthy because people are motivated and want wpvp. When 60 players see that "Darkshire is under attack" chances are good you'll get people down there to fight them off.

But really it doesn't bother me because it makes it a challenge. I know I'll get to level 60 eventually. I like dodging the people who would kill me and continue questing in the area. Just another way to play the game.

Sure i also like the fight in the towns or fights between large groups of people. What i hate is getting ganked on by a group of players or some fucking undead rouge/mage/warlock while questing, especially when it happens as often as it does. It massively slows down my progress. I am by no means a "hurry to end level" "leveling is just a massive grind" "the real game is at max level" kinda guy, i take my time leveling, i read the quests, i do the quest that go from one end of the world to the other that makes no sense doing if you want to level fast, but i still want to progress at a steady pace.
