Way to use up valuable time of a GM.

You could have obtained all those answers on these forums.

Since he has something against people who spend a lot of their time on the forums, he would rather have someone that spends little amount of time on the forums to answer his questions from his mistakes.

GMs spend a lot of time answering tickets, etc. He rather have it from an admin.

Hacking would require the person to actively write code to sneak past security protocols so that they can gain access and steal the required information, in this case this would be the Nostalrius server database where the account information is most likely stored. Whereas the crackers does the same thing except that they actively "disguise" themselves as a legitimate user who has access to the required files, both parties will need to decrypt the files. Phishing is just an email or site pretending to be legitimate so you essentially give them your information or infects you with Malware. I'd say that all accounts that has been stolen on Nostalrius is caused by the owner of the account, the person who failed one or more of the things I mentioned in my earlier post.

ty for ur reply but u're needed here i'm talking with normal ppl not the one who can stay on computer 12hrs a day

I did and I always do, and my previous response wasn't a copy&paste. It's still a proper response because according to the Terms of Use, only the account owner is permitted on the account with a few exceptions. So if you've lost access and someone else is using the account then the account will be banned given enough evidence. What you're describing as "hacked" has nothing to do with actually getting hacked. When the gmae master talked about "hack" he was referring to when a third party has gained access to their server where the usernames & passwords are stored. Which hasn't happened.

To me it seems more like that you failed to protect your account, Nostalrius refuses to clean up your mess and now you're trying to diminish their reputation by saying that "hacking" is allowed.

Read the title , read what the GM said go see the sunlight & stop writing all this mess cause no one is going to read it anyway so don't even bother & like i said that dude is not welcome that goes for u too & all the ppl who keep roaming on this forum 12hrs/day

Sorry but what did u do to the ppl who's hacking cause maybe i didn't see
If you were able to hack an account and log in every 24hrs that account would be yours
Sorry but that's what the GM said, not like i'm trying to waste your time or anything but he said that if you're able to hack an account it's yours you can read it clearly.

the question is: why can you only reset your password after your acc has not been logged in for X hours? whats the reason for that?

even tho it probably is the "hacked" ppls own fault they got "hacked". dont give away your account name or password. dont use a characters or forums name as account name. and its quite to impossible to get hacked. unless nosts database gets hacked.
