If you're finding WoW difficult to level up in.. there's not much hope for you. This is the easiest, most entertaining questing game I've ever played.

I think it matters most where you level..

I chose hunter and alliance, but i hated darkshore since its gloomy and dark.. So as soon as i got my pet, i ditched the entire continent and went for elwynn/westfall since its more bright and relaxing.

If you like forests, lakes, hidden areas and trees, you should start as human and level in elwynn and when you get to level 10, move to Loch Modan for a relaxing place to level up.

It gets harder when you go above level 30 and you're forced to stay in contested areas in order to gain levels.. So If you hate pvp, stay away from stranglethorn valley and go into less popular places such as north of wetlands which is only used by undead race of the horde + mixed amount of alliance. Kalimdor is pretty much swarming with hordes, while eastern kingdoms is dominated by alliance all the way up to silverpine forest.

Another way is to get into the lore.. actually read the quests that you are given, seek out for chain quests and feel the storyline in them..

I started playing very late BC on retail, so i primarily leveled in WoTLK. Well going from that to vanilla is a big leap in difficulty. Questing in the Barrens until my quests turn red and do able then hopping to another camp and repeating the same step just isn't too much fun at the moment, so my question for you guys is, how do you spice it up? Is it just the nostalgia that allows you to power through it? Addons? Certain music? I'm finding it difficult to level up, not because of the actually difficulty, just because of the mental exhaustion if that makes sense. Thank's in advance to anyone posting back! Keep it friendly please, thanks all!

Switch up regular questing and grinding with battlegrounds, plan your questing and grinding routes before hand (which is probably difficult as a new player), take time to enjoy the scenery and the ambience - it's not a sprint, it's a marathon so take your time. Level professions. Find a regular group of players at a similar level range to level with or to keep progress with so that you can do dungeons together (honestly - dungeons with the same people is great fun). Personally, I try to find some interesting lectures to listen to while grinding as I have found it to be more captivating than music, I guess audiobooks or tv-shows or something will work too. Keep in mind that contrary to popular belief - the game starts at level 1 not level 60.

Yeah nothing beats the good old "Slay 10 panthers, slay 10 older panthers, slay 10 invisible panthers, then slay an elite panther" quest. God the lore gets me so rock hard. Almost as good as the collect 12 murloc heads quest, goddamn thinking about it just gives me the shivers of excitement.

Leveling is a bit sluggish feeling from 1-15, but past that things start getting interesting.

I'm at level 48 or so, and leveling is pretty fun/enjoyable for me other than being 3v1'd by alliance, or just being killed by 60's.

I have an absolute blast doing quests with friends in RL as well as meeting other players in game. They made the difficulty so you actually want help from others around you even if it simply speeds things up. I keep professions consistent with my characters level and participate in world pvp any chance I get.

This quote is from a toxic player.

Difficult? Hah! It's not. Maybe it's difficult if you are low on patience.

It's better to tell the truth, instead of glorifying the tedious leveling experience. :D
"Kill 10 Panthers" "Pick up 10 murlock eyes". Man, such a blast! Oh, and don't forget the ganking!
"Building your character" That's what i'm doing at level 60.

It gets fun when you realize that it's not.

2 Days ago some hord had fun in Desolace, including me less or more. While doing Centaur Rep with 2 seperate grps, some Allies appeared, that showed up aggressive before at Thunder Axe. So we decided to show them where the hammer is hanging :)
