Gotta say I think that the launch time is a bit cocky: prime time on a saturday. From a developer standpoint I would have gone for early in the morning so that you have a full day to hotfix stuff.

You cannot create characters or reserve their names yet. The other topic that included that tip was a joke, though it has the kernel of truth in that once you do get in, you can create all the characters you want with whatever names, without actually playing any of them. So in that sense, you can reserve names you want.

For me, I got realm selection once and afterwards it's just "unable to connect".

You could get to the realm selection screen. 20 minutes ago we started seeing the Unable to connect error.
