Dont really matter , vanila wow felt like an actual world so you dont need to rush anything. I am already at 8 days played and I am only lv 35. I only have 1 toon and i dont expect to level another one.

As long as you enjoy what you r doing that what matter.

at Lv 35 I already have
-2500 HK
-225 Cooking
-215 First Aid
-215 Taillor
-220 Mining
-Already Honored with AB , Should Hit Revered before next Ab week end.
-Some gear purchased for bg lv 49 already
I m kinda proud of my toon to be honest , specially that I have nobody that gave me anything

Rushing to level 60 should not be a priority. Wow vanilla is actually a WORLD to explore and enjoy , a community to meet and to know.

But the main thing I want to do is get to 60 and start healing those endgame dungeons. That's what I like most in vanilla. Don't really care about PvP, but I love vanilla dungeons. BRD is still my all-time favorite dungeon of any expansion.

Not for me , but my wife would love quest helper than the main reason she dont have the patience for vanila , and also healbot and decursive dont work like they use to. (Dont know who have renew , power shield ) Decursive show an actual spell not just a little green square .....

But the fact that she dont have anything for her quest really make her lost interest. In quest Helper was the best one in vanila ?

Also Lv 39
242-Taillor
239-Mining
239-Cooking
260-First aid

I love vanila wow. The best mix for me would be Vanila wow but with BC or Wotlk talent tree.
I will stay in vanila even when bc server open

Those sneaky Mages in those caves!

Yep, mage AoE grind is just about the fastest way to hit 60 solo. Horribly repetitive, but quick leveling and so many greens/cloth that you might as well level tailoring/enchanting along the way!

I'm at about 2 days played now, and almost level 29. Enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I've just been so spoiled by retail leveling rates and other high-exp-rate private servers. :P

gotmilk0112 wrote:Eghhh. 10-15 days /played is still about 2-3 months, considering that I only play 2-3 hours a day. Investing that much time in a private server, just to hit max level on one character, doesn't sit well with me.

I love how this server seems to have an insanely high population, but I just don't have the time or attention span for 1x leveling.

I don't think you should be so discouraged. As it has been already said, leveling in Vanilla is extremely enjoyable. Part of the reason why I like Vanilla so much, is that it is incredibly organic. While rushing to 60 to experience endgame is one of many possible ways to play this game, you also miss out on a lot of the experience. Vanilla wow is not very streamlined, even in comparison to BC, with its leveling process. There are tons of quests that take you to, not just another zone, a completely different continent. Usually doing those quests are not very efficient in their exp to time ratio, but that's part of what makes the game more adventurous and more like an organic world.

My suggestion is that if you're worried about the time it will take to get to 60, then just don't worry about getting to 60. There are TONS of people leveling, questing, and doing dungeons 1-59. Unlike many other servers, especially many servers that give you greater than 1x experience, it can be very difficult to find groups. Here on this server, it isn't so difficult to find some people who want to do an elite or group quest with you.

So again, my suggestion is just to not focus on trying to get to 60 as fast as you can. A lot of the content for endgame isn't even released yet. There's literally no reason to rush to 60 unless you want to be an extremely competitive and top player on the server. There's nothing wrong with wanting to do that, but the time investment is going to be very great with that too, as the longest grinds in the game are at endgame, and not the leveling process. For example, grinding just rank 12-13 is going to be significantly longer than leveling. Even if you take 3-4 months to get 60, you're looking at least at that amount of time and possibly a few more months to get to that pvp rank.

With the other expansions, Blizzard focused almost exclusively on endgame content. With Vanilla, that really isn't the case. This game is a blast to play even if you're not 60, which isn't really the case with the ladder expansions.
