For the record im not envious of your accomplishments because ranking on this server is no achievment. Being R14 on this server is not an accomplishment i'd be proud of. Being able to farm empty bg's without actually ever fighting a real opponent is no achievment. So sorry, im not jelly at all.

You're aware that achieving R14 on any server, not just nostalrius isn't a matter of skill, but rather how much time you have on your hands. And yes, the people that have done the grind for R14 knows this aswell.

Yes - but typically on retail the people who achieved R14 had to actually fight, and while they may not have been the greatest pvp players they usually didnt get there buy afk'ing in premades for 16 hrs a day.

But, yes your right R14 was always about who had more hours not the greater skill.

Like it or not, PVP babbies, he is completely right that the way you guys operate does make the entire rest of the server wish you'd leave or get banned. You make the game less fun for basically everyone else.

Being first wave of r14s isnt something id be proud of, but saying its easy and only requires time is bullshit, especially preAV. You can spend all day queueing without a decent team and never hit r14 until all the players in a better team (yes that put in so many hours on a pserver) rank up or burn out first. You cant be terrible and just spend 20 hours a day and have anywhere near first dibs at r14 unless carried.

But really there isnt much you can do in early vanilla content patches that doesnt require more time than most adults are willing to spend

no Nost killed feenix, you clearly dont know the history of Feenix. When the server started they would regularly ban the top guild (mainly because they were under so much pressure to release content they did it to buy themselves time).

Each time they did it the overall population continued to grow. You can't honestly have such an inflated opinion of yourselves that you think the top 80 players (40 per faction) are even known to the 8,000 people who are leveling and don't even know who you are.

If you don't know what your talking about i suggest you stop talking.

And most of playerbase here played original vanila so they are 25-35 yrs old

and btw most ally premades dodge now(all from what i saw) and while i farmed rank, almost 10 years ago, we were happy to meet ally premade in bg and stomp them/then mock them on forums. So, yes, getting rank 14 here and now is easy and just requires time.

sayin all that, i dont mind people doing it, if thats what they want, but dont abuse and stay fuck away from av.

Emerald Dream died long before Nostalrius was a blip on the horizon. The top guilds quit or were banned for petty shit and others took their place, before those too gave up. The ones who stayed are the ones who felt they had invested too much to quit.

The only reason Nos has the population is it released before another promising server and had a good timeline promised. Now that one of those is out the window - and good luck finding testers for BWL - people are staying because of their time investment.

But don't worry, I'm sure when the top guilds quit and you take their place, you can feel proud of taking only a week to clear content and pug your way to R14 or whatever it is.
