and the ah prices being higher on the alliance is bullshit. your example was felcloth. i always buy it for 2 g ish off the ah as an ally. heck some things are even cheaper than the vendor price on the ah. so the ah part is just silly. maybe you should stop checking the neutral ah instead of the ally ah

as i said i buy it off the ah for 2g. every 3 days for my mooncloth cd. it isnt google. try checking the second page. the alliance ah is cheap as fuck. some things are under the vendor price. on several occasions i bought things to vendor them.

This. I started horde, but i rerolled alliance because i thought it would be fun to balance factions out. But after playing some time i decided to quit Nostalrius. Because playing with ally here - is zero fun. And no time to lvl one more 60 on horde side.

Well, since reading this thread, I strapped my boots and expected to annihilate some AV since I am Horde. Over the last few days, I've been in only 1 AV that I could see through until it finished, and Alliance won it after Horde took a lead. The rest were stalemates that stretched past my bedtime.

I've leveled both an Alliance and a Horde to 60. Here's what I noticed.

Leveling Alliance, I got ganked once or twice in Tanaris, i've had a few ninja's jack loot and peace out, and i've found some pretty cool people. AH prices also kind of suck. PvP is pretty good. There was a bigger community revolved around it at the time, so it was more enjoyable than on the horde.


Leveling Horde, I got ganked as soon as I left The Barrens. High level alliance usually sitting by low level towns camping anything that enters or leaves. Ungoro crater was a nightmare with Goochie, who killed anything on sight with or without illegitimate means. Ran into one ninja in WC, who ninja'd a tank belt, called everyone faggots, and hearthed out, other than that, the PvE scene has been chill.





The horde don't camp nearly as much as the Alliance. There are a lot of chill Alliance players, but there are also a bunch of children, and from my experience, more children than the horde. The quality of PvE is nicer on Horde, but the Quality of PvP is better on the Alliance. This also explains AH prices. More horde players farming for raid consumes, make a more bustling economy, while alliance players more focussed on battle grounds, and their free 100% mount at higher ranks don't have as much of an incentive to farm a whole lot

And leveling Alliance, I'm only level 40 and have been ganked countless times already, in every single zone except Elwynn/Westfall. Especially by 60s who ride by me on their mount, stop and turn around, then come after me and 1-shot or 2-shot me.

40-50's camping Darkshire or Redridge or whatever other low level towns, and in STV, undead rogues everywhere.

Again, anecdotal evidence can't really be used for much.

I agree, it really can't. I may of been lucky while leveling my ally toon, or maybe the community was different a while back. Who knows really.
