The staff themselves said that after they release naxx, they might launch a TBC server and allow one-way character copies to the new TBC realm.

What's next once all the content will be cleared?
A new TBC server will be opened after some months by the community we depend on. This new realm will be completely independent from Nostalrius Begins, that will continue to be supported. Additionnaly, the Nostalrius players will have the possibility to copy any character to the Burning Crusade realm. Once again, Nostalrius Begins will always stay online, and will always have its own dedicated staff.

Instant 58 is fine for a fresh TBC realm, because you have no already existing vanilla characters at 60. If the game reset when the expansion came out it would have been fucking awful.

Nostalrius will presumably not do that because you can port over your characters from the vanilla server, like how retail worked basically.

i will tell you why: this retarded TBC project has WAY too few and too shitty devs and so decided to skip 58 levels of content so they EVENTUALLY can release their crappy server this century not totally bugged.

What is the actual point of leveling again on a new TBC server though? I could instead do that on a vanilla server and actually do vanilla content like raids and such, hence why I'm playing here. All it would be is a waste of time.

All content added with TBC is 58+ except for Blood Elf and Draenei starting zones. Did you even play during TBC?

They also won't offer a client, meaning you have to either have the original CDs or find it yourself.

yes, leveling is a waste of time. cause you could do it somewhere else and many already did. such a waste of time. why is not every server having instant level X??



there are already many shitty tbc servers. i dont get why ppl would wait for this shitty one thats not going to be any different. i mean, just do it. i dont really care. its your time ("you are not wassting", haha), and maybe you're one of those enjoying to play on custom/fun servers and stuff. its up to you. but not my taste.

What I'm saying is that if I'm going to level a new character I would rather do it on a vanilla server so that I can properly experience vanilla leveling and grouping and dungeons and such. I think we're arguing two entirely different things.

Nothing that occurs below level 58 matters to TBC whatsoever, so I would expect that time wouldn't be wasted on it if it isn't a project like Nostalrius where it's already done.

Have you read their rules? You can make an infinite numbers of level 58 chars, use multi account, raise professions on them and screw the economy.

Reading their FAQ seems like they will add pay-to-win features too.

And yes, it can have 10 years development but I don't believe in any miraculous fixed server.
