A warning can remain linked to your account indefinite. And it may or may not stack with other offences, idk some kinda 'gm's discretion' shit. So you cant really dismiss it as 'just a warning'. Av can get really boring at times. Just farm the harpy cave next time adding a one-of ram kill to your rotation to keep things legit. Can't go wrong.

Yeah, GMs didn't ban people for fishing in BGs in vanilla. Sure, it is kind of a inconsiderate thing to do to your teammates but it was never a ban worthy offence.

If you weren't supposed to do those things there, why are there nodes, herbs and fish in there? This is just ridiculous. How about you just remove all the nodes from av, make that zone fish-free and no one will be doing the things you're saying are illegal.

But then again of course, it's not Blizzlike to threaten death of character/account on people for gathering/fishing in BGs (among other things, like LOS/outside aggro range of guards to kill players in Gadgetzan).

If fishing in AV is subject to account action then remove the ability to do it, anything less would be an absolute joke

Fishing in AV should be okay.
Fishing in AB shouldn't be okay.

In AB every player matters, and it requires you to be constantly vigilant.
Its also okay to fish while you're actually defending a flag.
AV requires less from everyone, and often turtles and slow advances happen.
