Well, think of it this way, once you're high enough levels, you can kill dem lowbies too .

They won't do anything about griefing as it's not against the rules. At most all you can do is make sure these lowlifes get their rep destroyed, and get blacklisted from every top guild.

It's a PvP server, the GM's will not hold your hand...it's part of the game, figure it out. It's an MMO, but people act like they're all alone or something.

As you can see from the answers: crowded PvP servers always attract a lot of scum.

There will be a PvE server soon, so the gankes can gank themselves, and the normal people can actually enjoy the game.

I am still waiting for someone to attack me at about equal level and an equal amount of players participating, but I am probably going to turn old and gray before that happens. The more common fights have a 20+ level difference and/or are 5+ vs one. While that is in some term player vs. player(s), it is neither entertaining nor fair, but it sheds some interesting light on those who spent hours of their life torturing the defenseless.

Kinda the whole point of a pvp server, to be able to do whatever you want to the enemy. If you want fair fights, battlegrounds exist. World pvp has never been fair, and never will. Out of all the games I have played I can only even think of one game that went out of their way to try and stop lowbie ganking, and that game was a huge failure and is actually not even around anymore.

PvE server is coming soon though probably. This server will always be 60's killing low levels, or people camping dungeon entrances such as blackrock mountain.
