This can be a huge downfall for rogues when they are targeting one and blinding the other and then the CP's are gone! Is this issue highlighted and being worked on?
That's intended. This was changed in the TBC patch. It's indeed annoying, but you'll have to deal with it as it's blizzlike.
gussman wrote:#3 mobs running awkwardly. I have seen this problem on many servers. when you tag a mob in melee, they're like gonna end up behind you because they run too far which in turn makes everything more difficult. this should not happen. It can have to do with that slight lag, causing the npcs/mobs to run in an awkwardly twitchy manner.
I've noticed this too, pretty sure it wasn't like that in vanilla. it doesn't always happen, but when it does it can get quite tiring having backpedal or turn around to hit the mob. This also happens with WV at times (especially when the server lags), he will just run way behind, to where the mob was standing originally and then run back to where the mob is now (at you), it's quite gamebreaking. The WV's ms also seems to speed up like crazy at times. Then again, I am not sure if it was like that in vanilla, I leveled a lock to 60 as my first character and I can't remember the AI being that bad.
gussman wrote:#4 Mobs(and players??) casting through trees! I noticed this very early as I was hiding behind a huge tree but the NPC could still cast frostbolt on me.. is this intended or what? because it should not be possible...
There are some spots where you can cast through objects. If I remember correctly there were some spots like that in vanilla too (not sure if those are the same though). The LoS on this server has improved a lot since release as far as I'm concerned.
gussman wrote:#5 herbs under the ground/untargetable; not a super significant bug I guess but I noticed it, a gloomweed and a peacebloom under the ground or u can't find/target em.
kinda minor bug but still annoying.
I have yet to see this. Maybe you just didn't spot them? I've had instances where I just couldn't seem to find the herb and it was right besides me the entire time, with the texture hiding it. Then again, I can be quite a retard at times.
