Arguing with patch notes doesn't really lead anywhere.

Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Combo points added to a target should not be reset until you add a combo point to a different target.

But prove it wrong if you can. Every vanilla rogue would surely be happy.

This can be a huge downfall for rogues when they are targeting one and blinding the other and then the CP's are gone! Is this issue highlighted and being worked on?

That's intended. This was changed in the TBC patch. It's indeed annoying, but you'll have to deal with it as it's blizzlike.

gussman wrote:#3 mobs running awkwardly. I have seen this problem on many servers. when you tag a mob in melee, they're like gonna end up behind you because they run too far which in turn makes everything more difficult. this should not happen. It can have to do with that slight lag, causing the npcs/mobs to run in an awkwardly twitchy manner.

I've noticed this too, pretty sure it wasn't like that in vanilla. it doesn't always happen, but when it does it can get quite tiring having backpedal or turn around to hit the mob. This also happens with WV at times (especially when the server lags), he will just run way behind, to where the mob was standing originally and then run back to where the mob is now (at you), it's quite gamebreaking. The WV's ms also seems to speed up like crazy at times. Then again, I am not sure if it was like that in vanilla, I leveled a lock to 60 as my first character and I can't remember the AI being that bad.

gussman wrote:#4 Mobs(and players??) casting through trees! I noticed this very early as I was hiding behind a huge tree but the NPC could still cast frostbolt on me.. is this intended or what? because it should not be possible...

There are some spots where you can cast through objects. If I remember correctly there were some spots like that in vanilla too (not sure if those are the same though). The LoS on this server has improved a lot since release as far as I'm concerned.

gussman wrote:#5 herbs under the ground/untargetable; not a super significant bug I guess but I noticed it, a gloomweed and a peacebloom under the ground or u can't find/target em.
kinda minor bug but still annoying.

I have yet to see this. Maybe you just didn't spot them? I've had instances where I just couldn't seem to find the herb and it was right besides me the entire time, with the texture hiding it. Then again, I can be quite a retard at times.

I don't get why people have the misconception that you can't cast through trees. Trees have never been accounted for LoS in WoW. There are clear cut examples in old vanilla movies where people use the trees to cast at people. If you played vanilla you should know this.

About the LoS; maybe I was wrong! I have always taked for granted that you could hide behind trees as they are objects, such as ruins of a house. Perhaps I simply haven't played casters that much. However, I can recall that on Feenix servers (same patch) you could hide behind trees from casters. I guess it differs which server you play on.

About Rogues CPs! You say they're added in TBC? But how come they're functioning on the same patch but on a different server? Then they must have scripted that, or you have scripted and removed the function.
It's one of them and I personally prefer if the function was functioning properly.
You say 'prove me wrong' but just check the previous post that I made on page one with the screenshot I have, it went down exactly as I described in that order.

I'm going CP spec as I find it the most powerful but now with this bug I am not sure that it is so good or even reliable.
You could accidentaly target yourself or another (I also have a glitchy mouse which like quadruple clicks without my permission so I can target others by accident) and BOOM all CPs are gone...
I am certain this is a major bug and I am very surprised nobody seems to raise their concerns.

Are you not reading people's responses?
We understand EXACTLY what you are referring to.

Is it annoying? YES.
Is it "blizz-like" IE, in Vanilla WoW, is this how combo points functioned? YES.

Which is why it won't change. I agree with you that it should. But the point of this server is to be as close to Vanilla WoW as possible. The good and the bad.

I'm probably rerolling if I get no response from a Dev about this issue.
I don't feel like wasting my breath on a broken class.
And yea It's kinda major.
Edit: Class, not server, donkey.
