I don't know if you realize that there are limitations to hardware and the game itself that makes it very hard to have an unlimited amount of people online, and if it is possible in some sort of way it would be extremely expensive, and as a result the server would not be able to remain free.

Making a new server will take a load off the old one, and hopefully make the current one stable, as wish for.

For example 2 servers with 4k people is much less expensive and easier to maintain lag free than 1 server with 8k people.

As long as private servers use the MaNGOS distributions as a base line, stability will be garbage when it actually has to do work.

The reason this server isn't stable is because there are too many people playing in it, you butthead.

Man... People talk with 0 knowledge of private servers emulation.

Upgrading the server is not going to remove the delay. Just understand this much, it's way past the population the mangos core can handle flawlessly.
The only way to have a stable server at this point is to put a queue, then you will come and start whining again about how there are 2000 players in queue before you , bla bla bla

And that's why they're opening a second server, to hopefully take some load off of the main server.

It's perfectly stable around 4k-5k players online. Even in the US at 100ms latency, the lag is barely noticeable at those player amounts.

The more people on a server at a given time, the less stable sad server is at that given time. This is the reason servers have a wait list when a large amount of people are on them.
