It's just a little disheartening to have the gold to buy it on Sunday night and for it to not be available.

Pre 1.4 mounts should have been removed from the vendors at the 18th of July, and by the looks of your realmplayers account you have been in MC all the way back in April, so it's not like you didn't have the chance to grind the gold.

Anyways, lets say they gave people another week to buy them, by the end of that week we would have people asking for a 1 week extension again because they missed it by a day aswell.
Just accept the fact that you got the short end of the stick this time and take it as a lesson to be more proactive in the future
