I've had exponentially less problems with LC than with DKP in the 5+ years I've raided. During those years, I've played in guilds of many skill levels, from random-ass to top 15 world.

An upgrade is an upgrade. Should I get punished for upgrading every small bit as I go, which helped the guild or should somebody not doing damage cause they refuse to be pre raid BiS get all good gear. You pronote showing up in shit loot in your arguement.

DKP is to avoid this and promote great raid attendance. Some common since needs to be put on some itwms, however this is not one of those cases.

If your guild does this, it's retarded. A good DKP system will be part loot council, and part DKP, to avoid situations like this where someone with an epic weapon is winning over people with blue weapons.

"Anyone can bid on anything" is not DKP, it's retardation.

The problem with arguments like this is they rest on the assumption that loot has to be wisely distributed, which just isn't the case in a game as easy as vanilla WoW.

Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, the only real issue at stake in determining loot in vanilla WoW is fairness. Personally, I view 'anyone can bid on anything' as being the most fair system available.

Oh, and as for the mageblade, if you have the DKP to pay for it, it's fair by definition.

I've never seen any DKP-using guild that allows "anyone to bid on anything". Can you provide some examples of guilds that allow hunters to bid on healing items and priests to bid on plate?

you don't understand and that's okay, because there's loads of things you don't understand judging from all of your forum posts, but just stop nagging people with this useless talk.

Personally i think it is unethical to give someone a mageblade who already has the sorcerous dagger while most of the other casters have way worse. Do you all think it is wrong and rude for them to bid dkp on it?

I actually almost prefer this person gets it instead of someone who hasn't put in effort to get the best gear that they can. Now if it's just because they are unlucky in raids or something then that's a different story.

There is a difference between being allowed to bid on anything reasonable your class can use and complete idiocy. I'm sorry you can't tell the difference between the two.
