If you delete all your characters/go to a different realm/buy a new account, then you could reroll faction in vanilla retail.

Here, you won't delete characters, you can go to the upcoming PvE realm and no one is paying money so multiple accounts are really a grey area.

but it's not a grey area. if they want to take the time to level again, then good on them. it's completely blizzlike. op should stop crying about it.

It shouldn't be allowed on the same realm (as it was in vanilla, unless you bought another subscribtion). But gm's cant limit peoples accounts to 1 - they'd have massive issues with people playing from the same IP. That's why I call it a grey area.

I'm not saying Horde definitely would have killed Azuregos before the Alliance had time to organize their two separately dedicated PvP/Azuregos kill raids, but Iamsahunter did a good job of sabotaging any chance we had by repeatedly pulling Azuregos into the raid that had a lot of people recovering from the 15 minute debuff and yelling "lolol i solo tagged him". I don't know if he's an alliance spy or just a complete idiot, but I suggest avoiding grouping with him.

Did you play retail vanilla? You couldn't have characters from both factions on the same server on the same account. The devs made an exception to being blizzlike so that people wouldn't be pigeonholed into either faction during the entirety of their vanilla experience without deleting their characters on the opposite faction.

But they could just make another free account, so there was really no point to allowing it.
