Yeah, totally ruined the escort for my alt.

Then they started killing the gryphon master as well as killing lowbies. So I logged off and brought my 60 mage over... despite (a) sucking royally at PvP and (b) being outnumbered three to one. I did not do well against them at all. And to top things off, I logged back on to my alt to try and hearth out of there... and they killed him as well.

The PvE realm can't get here fast enough.

I honestly cannot fathom how making things miserable for other people is fun. Near as I can figure you have to be a sadistic jerk to behave the way they did - or have the mentality of a 12-year-old. Or maybe they get their kicks seeing a multi-page thread on the forums about how awful they fail as human beings.

It makes them feel like they're alpha males, forcing their dominance over lesser beings. Trying it IRL would probably result in a broken jaw or something, so they do it in a computer game instead.
