U could farm the fire elementals in arathi for the fires, its what i did to get 100g fro mount at 40.

Those things are farmed 24/7 by 60s, and even if there's nobody else farming them, elemental fire has like a 5% drop chance, so you're lucky to get just one from clearing the entire area.

A realistic suggestion would be farming stone elementals in badlands within a level or 2, They drop a lot of grey stuff that vendors for a good amount and elemental earth which sells decently on AH, solid stone too

grind beasts outside the entrance of maraudon in desolace. I grinded two characters there from 34-40 on them and went from 3g when i started to having enough for all skills on the way, mount at 40 and some left over.

I agree with Dee, farm humanoids for cloth.
On a server this big, it's likely the most lucrative things are already camped...just be careful what you spend, focus on farming & grinding, pretty soon you will have some gold.

hunter actually is one of the most expensiv classes during leveling because of bullet costs, limited bag space and pet food. so if you focus on leveling, getting your mount with lvl 45+ is not uncommon.

1. like mentioned, only buy the spells you really need
2. buy low level ammo
3. feed your pet with things that drop and only buy 2nd highest food for it

and try to have your herbalism max leveled, will pay out soon

hello. i can't even find herbs to level my herbalism, let alone making money from it.

i buy only essential spells. basically i learnt 1/3 off skill i could learn.
i realize that made a mistake by not taking skinning as first profession. i could always change that.

seems i am pretty much screwed.

Soloing DM will get you roughly 10g / run, depending on your spec and skill it shouldn't take more than 1h to complete. Reset instance and do it again.
Soloing Stockade is roughly 7g, and vendors are few meters from entrance of the instance, time required is 30ish mins.

Both instances should give you 0 exp and you can't get ganked in there or out of them, so you can get as much gold as you like at 35

I just solo cleared Deadmines and i could make only 1-3 gold. this seems like its not profitable. i asked some guy if skinning earned him any money but he said it was not profitable either. he was skinning beasts all around.

Which all really don't cost very much, tbh.

Even the level 40 ammo is only 10 silver for 200, so filling a 14-slot quiver only costs 1.4 gold. And those 2,800 arrows will easily last you an entire level, at least.

And for cats/raptors, one stack of meat from a vendor will easily last you a few days, because at max loyalty, your pet only needs to be fed every 4 or 5 hours.

I dunno, I don't seem to have any kind of money issue, leveling a hunter. Even after buying like 20-25g worth of greens on the AH around levels 35-40, I'm still sitting at 55g at level 43, and I haven't done any kind of farming, just questing and a bit of grinding. As long as you don't try and train every skill, you'll be fine. Which is easy because tbh there are a shitload of skills that are useless while leveling.

Play the Auctionhouse game, find out what is in high demand and go for that, there is money in what the players need but wont farm.
Agility potions i can imagine sells well, that means the maths for agility potions probably also sells well.
But be sure to know the market prices, so you dont cheat yourself.
I started my first char about 2 weeks ago and i Litterally made my first 10g within the first 10-15 levels, just by buying up items on ah, and then vendor them at the inn.
Later on buying up too low priced items and reselling them on the ah.
