Which all really don't cost very much, tbh.
Even the level 40 ammo is only 10 silver for 200, so filling a 14-slot quiver only costs 1.4 gold. And those 2,800 arrows will easily last you an entire level, at least.
And for cats/raptors, one stack of meat from a vendor will easily last you a few days, because at max loyalty, your pet only needs to be fed every 4 or 5 hours.
I dunno, I don't seem to have any kind of money issue, leveling a hunter. Even after buying like 20-25g worth of greens on the AH around levels 35-40, I'm still sitting at 55g at level 43, and I haven't done any kind of farming, just questing and a bit of grinding. As long as you don't try and train every skill, you'll be fine. Which is easy because tbh there are a shitload of skills that are useless while leveling.
