First of all Flask on anything but tanks in bwl are just overkill.

Also if notes increase in spawn rate, it will not change who take the nodes. In every Lotus zone i've been in since i hit 60 few months ago, there is a strange phenomenon going on, once an hour the same character logs in right on top of a lotus spawn, and on every other possible node in the zone.

My point here is, as long as people are allowed / not stopped, from multi boxing outside major cities, it does not matter how many spawns / hour you make, they will still take 90% of them.

If that's the case then they should randomise herb spawns, or at least black lotus.

No it isn't. There are some glaring problems that are because of the high population but it isn't like the staff isn't trying. People like to take thing s to the extreme.

Blizzard realized the problem of people camping the spawn points, which is why Fel Lotus and Frost Lotus were random drops from high level herbs instead of having their own node.

Just a small thought - they may be waiting until the release of the PvE server, to see how much the population changes, before deciding how much to tweak the spawn rates.

Only solution is to randomize all herb spawn coordinates.

Funny you mention that, I was thinking exactly that after I made my first post.. Why not just make black lotus a rare drop from herbs like Dreamfoil/Mountain Silversage/Gromsblood etc.. That rewards people that are actually farming materials instead of the 50 chinese farmers that I run into every time I try to get some Black Lotus(seriously go to winterspring and discover the multiboxers for yourself. I have screenshots of them admitting it..)

This type of thread has been made several times since they changed the spawns.. and there will be many more.

Doesn't matter what you can/can't do. We want flasks, it's part of the game, and ruining it by giving 20 spawns for 8000 people is not an excuse to not use flasks.
