So by your logic; everyone who's in a pug should roll need on everything that isn't BOE because they can make money off of it? What if someone actually needs it and wants to equip it? Since when did this common courtesy became nonexistent?

When I was still playing, I did notice that some people would roll need on mats or green gear even though they didn't need it at all.. Why did this change? That's why there's a GREED roll.(I've seen rogues roll need on locked boxes just because ''I gotta train my lockpicking'' ffs)

I will agree that recipes can be iffy though since people can lie easily.

The only person who would ever *NEED* the recipe, is a Priest with tailoring, because the crafted item is BoP and class-restricted to Priest.

So if any other class tells you they need the recipe for tailoring, they're full of shit and are just going to sell it on the AH.

I would personally just need on valueable BOEs just to avoid situations like this, and then give the item to someone from the group if they actually need it, granted he wasn't being a total dick or trying to convince me that he is a rogue tailor :P

It doesn't matter if you label him ninja or not.
Everyone who reads this can judge screenshots and decide whether add him to blacklist addon or not.

I feel like this needs to be quoted again since the mouthbreathers have made their appearance in this thread.

I was in a group with this guy for MC attunement, he convinced people to join the group by saying we were doing Emp but then ditched as soon as we helped him get attuned. Don't know anything about this situation, but the guy is clearly pretty selfish and has no problem using deception to get what he wants. I'd avoid.

I do think it matters. Getting shamed on the forums could have "social consequences". People go: 'oh, look a p12 swede with a stupid name is a ninja'. Without thinking much further, and might even spit on him in public.
Losing a boe roll has zero consequences.

And if this looting business is so important to you, you should state the loot rules before the run. And make sure everyone agrees. And screen shot that. You can't just make up loot rules when things drop and expect everyone to agree on them there and then.
Industrial level of helpful trolling since 2015.
