I don't understand how someone who pvps constantly and has only 1 level 60 can stand running around in level 40 gear.. why wouldn't you just run a few dungeons and get gear that is significantly better and then not have to worry about it anymore?

I don't pve at all. Never entered any dungeon or raid since lvl 60 and nor I want to. There isn't any other better piece I can buy from AH, and I am also close to getting exalted with AB so the enjoyment of the huge upgrade is worth the wait. Also all my gear is lvl 55+ except my shoulders which is lvl 45 rare but the best one I can have for now without having to pve.

but seriously doing 1 LBRS-UBRS run would guarantee you a 2% crit trinket which would be an absolutely massive upgrade, plus the chance for truestrike shoulders which would replace your worst item, plus battleborn armbraces from Rend, plus painweaver band/brigam girdle from Drakkisath.
You will never get a second trinket from PVPing so you may as well bite the bullet and do 1 dungeon for blackhand's breadth, might walk out of there with 5 upgrades.

Ilikeggs' post is actually helpful, snawfu was just talking shit like usual so I figured I'd put his ass back in line.

He is right Voro, there are some really good pve upgrades that take little to no effort to obtain. I know you hate PvE but I can guarantee a lot of the PvE'rs didn't enjoy their time grinding AV exalted and I know AV is one of your favourite spots.

Anyway point is you have to give a little to get a little. If you're really passionate about PvP you should want to improve your character and posts like Ilikeggs and hopefully mine simply aim to help you out in achieving that goal.

After all, from my perspective, what are those pieces of gear compared to another loyal soldier/guildie on your side? Nothing! And I would much rather keep doing various PvP events instead of pveing during that time, since noone else does it.

Lionheart helm costs 400g+ , I can give full vendor gear and bags to 1600 lowbies instead which will make them feel welcome, and believe it or not, its quite a boost and an upgrade for them.

I have a different and more funny way of seeing things, so just let me follow my playstyle ^^
