One issue is if it gets too popular, it will be harder for undergeared players to find groups for these farm runs, because geared players will only want to do/only be doing GDKP runs.

If you need the gear and aren't a "buyer" i highly doubt they will invite you. This skews the system so only established players will be making money or players with gold to spend, the rest are left in the dust.

And why exactly can't these players who neither are overgeared nor have a ton of gold raid together? That question is never answered when this argument is presented.

Not to mention you then have a horde (no pun intended) of players that have a ton of gear they didn't actually work for and you have no way to decipher their skill level at that point. For a raid leader that is recruiting, that will be a nightmare.

GDKP has been around forever. It's just called selling a run. The people that use this are typically bad, however, considering this is an emulator you may just have lazy players that might be good. You just never know. Not worth it, imo.

Man, you guys have some very strong opinions about this.

Sorry I should have specified that it would be starting next week, and that it of course was for horde. Apparently I shouldn't make posts on forums late at night, like I'm doing right now . . .

Anywho. The best way I can think of organizing who all is interested (and what they are interested in) is by collaborating everything into a Googledocs sheet. So if you are interested just send mail to Bumpus and make sure to let me know your Name, Class, Spec, Gear level, and if you are there to make money or to spend money. Here is a link to the current doc, just set it up with a couple people so far and will update it in the morning.

In the future I will always invite from the list of people I have first, then go to world/trade chat afterwards to fill in any missing gaps. Come make some money and get some DKP-free gear!
