Bumping this thread.

I feel like not having Hallow's End, xmas and other seasonal events this year would be very sad. It's also an amazing way to attract new players and to get current players more involved into the game.

As said before, this isn't about progressive raid content/gear release. I bet a lot of people would rather have those events working on Nost before smashing trolls in ZG.

Hammersplat wrote:For seasonal events why go on the patch notes? Of course there will be no christmas event in a july patch. But there was Christmas in the first year of wow.

Why should the children of stormwind suffer with no gifts this year just because Nostalrius didn't start in the right month?

So if you share this opinion, feel free to bump this thread real hard. Any staff communication concerning this topic would be greatly appreciated. Hallow's End is next week.

Want candies ? Want to turn your GM/tank into a bat during a raid ? Want gifts ? Snowballs ? Xmas trees in IF/OG ?

Bump it like you mean it.

On WoWWiki, it says that Hallow's End was added during patch 1.8.0, the Feast of Winter Veil during patch 1.2.0, the Midsummer Fire Festival during patch 1.11.0, Love is in the Air during patch 1.9.3, Noblegarden during patch 1.3.0, and Children's Week during patch 1.4.0. It seems most of the holidays are available to us, with a few others being added in later expansions. I would like to know, however, do these holidays function properly on Nostalrius? It would be wonderful if they did.
Best of journeys in Azeroth, and may nature bless you.

Looks like the Halloween decorations are up on the server but no quests, no candy, etc. At least it looks like Hallows End! :D

Step three: Scroll down to the part of the wiki that discusses patch information.
Step four: Use your eyes and basic literacy to read.

You're almost there!
Step five: Compare the patch number listed to the patch we're currently playing.

This concludes our tutorial on how to use the Internet.

Way to be an absolute bag of dicks, dickbag.

Do you actually manage to function in the real world?

What is going on in the server? Decorations... players with costumes...
But Innkeepers won't give you any treats... and the bobbing apples doesn't give a buff if eaten for more than 10 seconds, and can't even be picked up by lower level players.

I'm guessing still some quirks to work out right?
