I'm not a fan of gotmilk, but I agree 100% with this. If you don't like people reserving shit, don't join their fucking runs you knob.

While I think it is shitty to reserve something, you aren't forced to join their group. They are taking the time to create and maybe lead the group. They are putting in more effort than you by making sure they find the right members. So it could be argued that you are actually taking advantage of them by just joining the group, letting them finding everyone, then just pressing 3 buttons (fighting) and getting gear.

Don't join if u need that piece or are offended that they are reserving.
Join if you don't need that piece or just don't care.

There are two different kinds of reserve loot, imo.

People who reserve items like orbs/mount in strat or even gear from low-lvl instances AND people who reserve mats and stuff from raids for their guilds.

I avoid people from first categorie.

Reserving loot is as old as wow, no scratch that, it's older. Run dungeons with friends instead.

Funny to see the mount reserved because as far as I know, it doesn't drop on the server yet. Someone would have seen it by now, but as far as I know, no one has. I think it was added during the Argent Dawn/Naxx period, along with the tier upgrade sets. I know the sword can drop however, and a few people have obtained it. But it's odd to reserve these either way since they are so rare. Most people reserve the baron cape... which in itself is only a 1 in 10 drop chance.

It'd be less annoying to see reserve runs if they didn't always reserve the 1 thing you're after, the most important or valuable item out of the run that people care about. Basically, it's the baron cape or truestrike that get at least 99% of the reserves(with other items being Painweaver or Hand of Justice). Casters don't have to deal with any of this crap. Not going to the run isn't much of a solution when you NEED the run to GET the items. Better solution is to not roll a physical damage class on this server, as casters have it god damn made on Nostalrius. Rogues are half the population by themselves, and casters don't have to suffer with any reserved items. They can instead go to the reserve runs and still roll on what they need.
