Joana also skips the Faldir Cove Q which you can do right before your runs to the Badlands. I think Joana also skipped some Qs by the beach at Swamp of Sorrows and the elite Qs in Hinterlands. Also, the elite quests in Arathi arn't completed.

Just grind, grinding is still 80% as efficient as questing, and often times more efficient if questing requires zone hopping a ton. Even in the guide it says to kill mobs randomly moving between quests and to grind off the rest of a level, etc.

Yeah, you shouldn't follow the guide by the letter. Make your own experience by mixing some dungeons in between when you can. I often find myself in trouble when the guide for example says, "you should be lvl 31 by now" when I'm not even half way trough lvl 29. Remember, this guide is written by a hunter, who level much easier, especially when walking from one point to another, killing mobs in between.
