Feenix has a modified wow.exe in archive ... If you don't delete this file to add a proper wow.exe then you won't be able to play anywhere else .

too much complication over something I'm sure it's on their end.

I run GW2, Rift, Tera, LotRo and 4 other vanilla realms without ANY problem. I don't see a single reason why should I get kicked out in less than 20seconds everytime I logg in.

It's cuz of anti cheat. I can bet my life on it.

Btw, like most of population I got my client from Feenix (fresh one) and I got 2 cds of 1.12.1. dating back from 2005 given by a friend. God knows where he got it but I play on client from those cds over 3 years now. This is first time I encountered something like this.

The only thing that remains is server's anti-cheat. I'm sure I somehow got "labeled" on it and it's kicking me out every time I get in.

But why would the anticheat just randomly pick a player and disconnect them this frequently? That would make you the 0.02% affected by that.

It's either something on your end, or your ISP is wonky with the connection to them. Something is doing it, and I highly doubt the server is single handedly picking you to disconnect. Honestly, it could be plethora of things. Someone suggested pinging the server and seeing the read out. That's a good idea. Open command prompt (windows), or Terminal on Mac and type: ping login.nostalrius.org

Leave it, paste what comes back after a minute or so.

Shoudn't be problem in that. I've did it yesterday too, was even lower ms.

I use SAME files for 4 realms. Works flawless.
I play few other quality mmos which run without a single trouble.

If it was my ISP, i'm sure I'd have at least some issues with at least 1 more realm/game.
I don't know... only thing that can cross my mind is anti cheat.

I rush trough login in less than 2 seconds. Loading screens take less than 3-4 seconds too. And as soon as I'm in - dc.

Also try pinging Nostalrius, see how connection is with it.

You may also try a tracert, up to 30 hops or so.

Usually the first 1-3 IPs will be your local and provider IPs, those will be your primary concern. Then anything after that is pretty much out of your control.

Me and two people I play with disconnect pretty frequently too. We live in different states but we all disconnect at the same times as we run around together. Sometimes pretty frequently. I'm assuming it's ddos attacks or whatever.

Happens to me all the time too, I used to have Dark Nights installed, but got rid of it when I found out it causes a problem, but the disconnects have not stopped.
