I think on the PVP server, if you're doing the challenge publicly (posting to Youtube etc) you'd better hide your character name or you will have a lot of people out to actively hunt and gank you for the lulz.

Remember that in ironman if you die once you have to delete your character.

Hunters are the hands down easiest class to do this with.

The challenge is kinda pointless imo though, unless there is some special rule I have missed.
On a PvE server you just grind mobs 3 or more levels below you for eternity and FD if you somehow manage to fuck that up, and on the PvP server you just get absolutely fucked

It's more just a test of skill. Vanilla I know is much harder than retail because of how hard it was to quest and level in vanilla compared to retail. It would be really cool to see how far I can go. I probably won't do it more than once if I do die, unless it's before level 10. I know that from level 1-10 for hunters is probably the hardest part of the challenge. Warlock might be easier though because of the health stones which are allowed. I'll put more thought into what class I should roll but for right now I'm either gonna do a Night Elf or Dwarf hunter. The next option would be a gnome warlock My first character was a gnome back in 2005 and I'm most familiar with their area. I also found that their area is the quickest to level in as I would often test myself to see how fast I could get to level 10 in vanilla. My record was 47 minutes play time. I won't be starting this challenge until I finish up with finals in a couple weeks so I have more time to play and upload.

I will go play according to the vanilla rules for the Ironman challenge. Some include no buffs, no professions, no guilds/groups/raids, no food or drink that gives a buff, no enchants, white armor and weapons only, no deaths, no addons that assist in the leveling process but quest helper is allowed, no talents, and no professions besides first aid. Those are the ones I can think of.

Also - Play your character like it's the only one you have on your account. Receiving anything from another character is against the spirit of the challenge: no gold, gear, bags, etc. Play with what you have been given for your lone character.
