I think the population will even out as time goes by. It's going to be inevitable that some people leave for personal/other reasons. It's good that we have such a high population when we just start so that down the road (a few months), we won't have any issues with population as people come and go.

OR

The population will just skyrocket from here and hit some cap that the server can't handle anymore... ---> new realm possibility.

The people that think its fake population are likely the mad kids that haven't really played ingame and actually leveled in every zone while questing or grinding.
