Best scripted server with tons of glaring mechanical bugs.

Personally, i'd prefer working mechanics and high end encounters than working level 20 escort quests with a bunch of class/mechanical bugs. But that's just me...

I lol'd at the "bunch of class/mechanical bugs". Someone's not playing as a rogue and/or warrior here it seems.

Seen quite a few quests bugged.
Seen quite a few gamebreaking bugs (don't tell me rogues and group loots are fine, lmao).
Seen some shit from GMs.
Seen item duping, although not on important stuff, I'm fairly sure I'd manage to dupe drops on a boss.
Seen big shit from the community.

All this being said, I think I'll give kronos a try on release, in the hope to find a better place for me.

1. Yes. Can be remedied
2. Yes. MUST be remedied asap
3. Yes
4. Can you prove this? If this kinda shit can be done I won't even bother to level to 60 since the economy is pretty much ruined from the start.
5. Don't really care about shit from the community.

Overall the pluses that the server has (big population riding on a rewriten ManGos core - giving credit where credit is due; stability; pathing; etc.) compensate with the downsides to bring to a neutral state. If the duping is possible, than there's not much of a point in even continuing to play.

To Drooppi: I have absolutetly no doubt that Kronos will be a hundred times worse than Nostalrius is atm, and will never ever reach the pathing quality or number of players that are here whilst having below 30 ping (EU).

I can't guarantee it works on anything, but we've seen lots and lots of quest items cloned [edit spoil] I don't think the other items behave differently, hence it should be possible (spoiler edit)

And someone having a full felcloth set might confirm that theory.

Yup, linking especially is wrong in tons of places making pulls a lot easier than it should.

Yeah I've noticed that too... I'm not sure it works with everything though
Reported it, explaining how it works on the forum would only do more harm than good.

Edit:

Your reading comprehension is horrible.

And in fact, i got my warrior to 28 before i rerolled and made a mage. Warrior is broken as hell and not even worth playing - and these are the mechanical bugs that i'm talking about. ED, 2+ years ago, didn't have these mechanical bugs that Nost does in 2015.

I am content. I like the fact that low-level dungeons are scripted fairly well and constitue a challenge. I wouldn't know class mechanics, but so far the server has given me little reason to doubt its quality.

Also, bringing ED into the discussion is a tad redundant, since ED's low-level dungeons were terribly scripted, to put it mildly.

Nostalrius might be shoddy in terms of scripts, but it certainly doesn't feel that way to me.

Crashes are usually not caused by the amount of players connected, but by a specific action or script breaking the server. Once the source of the crash is fixed, that specific action or script will not cause the server to crash again. If the server crashes again it will be caused by another script that needs fixing in a similar way.

How many of those crash causing scripts are being found when 5000 players play compared with when 200 people play? So yes crashes are being caused by amount of players connected, it's just an indirect relation and not a direct one.....

Exactly. French version of Nostalrius had a population of 100 online and usually crashed like once every 2 or 3 weeks. This server has 5000 online and crashes 2 or 3 times a day. Quick calculus shows base stability actually increased since French version.
