If we can get his name out there, I have to say I'd be happy to see this happen. I most want to see a rules change to prevent this abuse on others.

Yes, it isn't blizzlike but the argument is that this functionality was never intended. And so, to compensate for that, some sanctions should exist to prevent it--prevent him from exploiting this feature of Nostalrius to cause griefing.

Warnings have been given for the multiple toons harassing. However, it apparently doesn't stop him from just finding our location and continuing to make the game unplayable. He is actually killing me as we speak, if you'd like to know.

I'd love to surround myself with friends, but let's be realistic: could you find enough people that you'd have more than 1 level 60 bodyguard alongside you during 24 hours of the day? People can be generous but this is way too much to expect.

Just have your cross-factin buddies put him on their friend list and gank him when he wanders into the world (whether to gank you or to do,other things). It's really not a big sacrifice on their part - people love to goof on trash bag losers and make them rage more.

BTW, I am pretty sure that offering up names is fine. I see it on the forums all the time as it increases community accountability.

Have you tried contacting his guild, if he is in one? Perhaps speaking with them about the situation might help, if nothing else it might help to teach him that his terrible actions have consequences. On the other hand, it might just enrage him more, so it is a risk. I'd keep collecting screen shots, document this harassment for as long as it goes on for. If they keep it up, I really do think they should be banned on the simple grounds that this person seems mentally unstable in some way, and as stated, not likely the sort of person that is wanted in the community.

I am sure blizz GMs would react to things like this, the rules say that this sort ganking harassment isn't rulebreaking but that is just to prevent people from reporting at every single gank, when it's around the clock like with so many losers on this server I am sure blizz even has some sort of responsibility to take action since they are taking the players money.

Agreed, if he's being a scumbag just post his name. There are sociopaths all over the internet. They crave punishment. It probably gets them off. It's why "sociopath" is associated with "prison" (and lack of education for that matter). You'd be doing him and yourselves a favor.
