Kind of events that WoW needs today. A perfect way to breath new live in Vanilla, so lets do this.
P.S. gnomes & dwarf females better stay in ironforge

You know that vanilla leveling is quite a tedious task, and the higher your level is, the longer it takes to gain another one. Leveling 5-14 in Elwynn alone is totally fine and manageable, and 15-29 in Redridge will certainly work out too, hell, that's where it will actually start to get interesting.

Regarding Stranglethorn Vale, even though it's really big, populated, and there's always war happening in it, spending 15 levels in it probably won't be the best idea. By late 30's leveling starts getting quite a bit longer, so you have to consider providing your lowbies with additional zones to level in that bracket, perhaps elsewhere in Eastern Kingdoms, or perhaps somewhere on homefront. Nothing can replace STV entirely though, that zone represents the purest manifestation of WPvP in this game.

As for Blasted Lands for 45-60, that's a total no-go. The zone itself is barren and uneventful, limiting yourself to grinding guards in one single spot makes it even worse, but worst of all, 45-60 is when gaining levels takes the most time and requires the most exp. It could be said that leveling 1-45 would take about as much time as 45-60. So it would be very important to differentiate the last level bracket as much as possible, perhaps by expanding presence into Plaguelands or fighting along the paths to BRM in Searing Gorge/Burning Steppes.

You have a point. Although as in elwynn and redridge the environment is against you, it is good how leveling is shorter. Where in the next zones its somewhat more welcome. Ofcourse im considering adding up more zones, but i want to keep people closer to each other, i think it will be better that way.

As time passes we will figure out how it will go, we need to make a start first. At the beginning, is the toughest part. If we give it a good push, it will start flowing on its own.

The expedition begins in shortly. It will start small, we will get used to things, and go further with recruitment, player support and custom-content. Dont expect big things from start, we need to start forming the core of this operation

Some screenshots of me and my low level mates in the expedition. Was hella fun even though we got fairly beaten by low level Alliances a couple of times. You can see the album here. Cheers!

Well, a vile warning, that you cant expect entering enemy territory without dropping to the ground a couple of times -at least-

We started the invasion today. Plenty of hardened troops in average armor along with some young conscripts. We moved around eastern elwynn, spread and sent each one to do a task.

Suddenly 2 lousy dwarves, a paladin and a warrior, well geared, came to make a stand. They shaked us hard but we managed to put them down. Eventually they brought help, they were superior to us, and as we were scattered it was hard to react properly (that needs some training and no panic). Eventually they got fended off.

We regrouped to the tower, then started the offensive on the zone once again, occupying all the spots shown on the elwynn map i made at the first post. Deputy willem, Goldshire, Guard Thomas, eastvale camp, they all no longer offered services. There were plenty trying to stop us but failed. After hours of bloodshed, a quite geared group of defenders came and overpowered us, since some of our troops went to rest.

We did not manage to build a stronghold and make a foothold, as there was always resistance keeping us busy. 4.5 hours of war, bloodshed, the 2 glorious flags and their carriers collided. The alliance was victorious, both sides had plenty of casualties, but we got to bring their citizen terror and despair.

This will not be the last of our invasions. Hail!

Thanks to this post, there are always a few same guys coming up to give us a challenge! The same lousy dwarf came, each time bringing more help on defeat! The battle was amazing!

Later on, since we couldnt work on giving out tasks and supporting levelers, we evacuated em and decided to just go for some more world pvp

Well, i will say, attempting this event was really fun and glorious, 1 guy wanting to defend brought us huge trouble, both sides wiped many times, as 1 brings more help each time on defeat..in the end the entire zone turns into a battleground, fighting over a tower.. This is something i really enjoy about classic WoW.

As i said, the efforts will not cease, we will build a stronghold in your lands! Hail!

Cool idea although seems difficult to implement. I did some random 60s (doing what looked to be patrolling) near the Tarren Mill quest areas.. maybe they were part of this. Remember thinking it seemed nice of them to do...... so I helped out by murdering a gnome immediately after.

Ran into your group today in Lakeshire while I was chatting with some people there in downtime. Did get to fight your guys at first and then yourself. It was fairly good, got 10-12 hks in Lakeshire and gave 3 deaths of my own.

Was a good change of pace from battlegrounds.
I'm not as deeply vested in wpvp as you are but it's admirable in its way, though I see why it's vexing for the 20s lowbies getting wrecked over there, heh.

All the best.
