Firstly, I didn't join the PvP server to be gangbanged by a premade group of capped characters with close to BiS gear on my daily questing in FELWOOD.
I did it for the proper BG population and I-m just generally not a PvE-guy.

This wasn't a "Simple gank" either. They were camping the particular location for about 1,5 hours. Not killing, from what I could tell, a single npc, just 50-55 players trying to quest.

This in my eyes isn't proper PvP, it's just cowards trying to boost their e-peen.

Thing is, if a group decides to go gank an area, that area becomes unavailable for you and you have to accept it. Defeat the opposition or change area

While I agree this guy is whining about a core part of a PvP server, your advice is shit.

On a server with 13k+ and it only taking 1-4 60s to shut down a quest hub, these fucknuts are everywhere. You just have to bite the bullet, get your tags, and corpsehop out of there.

I leveled to cap at launch and it was rough in terms of pop, but everyone was similar level and busy getting to cap. I did not appreciate how bad it was now until leveling my alt. It's still packed and you have a handful of fucknuts waiting on AV queues killing lowbies.

It's within the rules, but it doesn't make it less frustrating for new players and unless you're actively leveling an alt, I suspect you don't realize the extent of the problem. It only takes a few bored 60s to shutdown a zone and WoW is so linear, your zone options are limited, and a 13k pop means there are bored 60s in every zone.

Defeating a group of 60s as a lowbie is not an option. As a lowbie, you're likely not in a guild of geared 60s, so your options are asking for help in World. Given the size of Vanilla & the speed to get around, I'm unlikely to travel 15m to go defend some random. The server is large and anonymous, no one is helping these guys.

As for going to another zone, Vanilla is incredibly linear. There are typically under 3 zones that are appropriate for your level and on a server with 13k people and 40m AV queues, there are more than enough bored, dickish 60s to shutdown every zone.

Unless you're currently leveling an alt, you likely don't realize how bad things have gotten. As someone who leveled during launch and has recently got an alt to 45, I'm shocked at the difference. There are just as many lowbies competing for quest mobs and at least one bored 60 in every zone.

I actually realize the extent of the problem, I leveled 3 char on pvp server, some low level areas were camped 24/7 by autistic 60's, still I found solutions and managed these chars to lvl 60.
OP complains about some guys killing greenies for 1,5 h which is really nothing, just another day on a vanilla pvp realm. If you can't handle that then pvp server is not for you.

They weren't even farming Felcloth. Just running around killing people trying to go about their business and questing.

This server is so toxic and unfortunately this isn't a rare occurance either.

Seriously just queue up to a battleground instead...
