Hey, this is Katrik the Raidleader of this raid! I'll begin with saying that i'm really sorry for what happened, it was a stupid misstake.

The raid had been going for over 7 hours since loosing our main tank for ragnaros 2 times and finding new ones wasnt easy, so I was extremly tired by the point ragnaros was downed.

I couldnt deal out the loot and I tried for minutes and then I decided to try a quick fix that i've done a few times before in mc when looting doesnt work, but it certainly wasnt thought through enough. I changed to free for all and then back to master looter as quickly as possible, and what came after was just out of my imagination.

I became totally confused when I saw that the items had been picked up, another problem was that even if I changed back to ml in 1 sec people that already had clicked their items still had time to press it after the change.

This was certainly not something that was planned for, my first reaction was that everyone who took the items were ninja looters and should risk a ban, but after hearing everyone elses reaction I realised that the blame was on me.

Im really sorry for what happened and I know I cant give it back to all, but I just want to clear stuff up! It was only a mistake.

As Gnoggin said, look at this video of what happened, this is uploaded by me and I also got a piece of loot (Judgement Legplates).

In my personal opinion this was all a fucking stupid mistake (like REAL stupid), but bearing in mind that our RL was probably brain fried from raiding for 5 hours straight and having to go to IF and back to find new members because of all the people leaving and joining etc. Not to mention it was around 3 am ST when we actually downed raggy and none of us were from the US.

The video shows in my eyes it proves my innocence up to a certain point (Basically I didn't ninja but if you want to think I'm a dick then go ahead!) there was no colluding from myself because otherwise wouldn't I be hovering over the legplates to guarantee I get them if I knew the loot was gonna be changed to FFA? As for the others, I have no idea whether the items were sold or not, but I highly doubt it considering a holy pally with what seemed like he only had holy gear got the mace, I don't see why he would bother spending a bunch of gold on the bonereaver. He just decided to take it because he saw the FFA loot like the rest of us.

If you have a problem with loot you say it out loud, thats the natural reaction. The second natural thing to do would be to give ML to someone else or try other solutions rather than putting on FFA.

What appears from the video is that the pala was negotiation with the ML in time between the Rag death and the looting. He knew exactly what would happen next, and he went for the agreed item.

On a more interesting note, before this last MC reset, Katrik and Redlords also hosted an MC pug that I was in.

Upon killing Domo, they were figuring out if anyone wanted the last epic that dropped, but someone else with an offspec was interested if not.

Someone finally spoke up, but the raid leader, or whoever it was in Teamspeak, told the person with offspec to go ahead and take it(not sure if he saw that someone DID want it), so that person, Shayla, took it.

It caused the person who wanted it to leave, and Shayla was kicked from Redlords along with other drama. However, it was likely the raid leader's fault because they told Shayla to take it. Yet, Shayla was kicked from the raid and their guild when they were TOLD to loot it.

And now this happens on the next reset, hah.

Not true. It was stated clearly in TS and in chat that Junkk (who won roll) should take it. Shayla acted and she herself also took blame for this. Although it was a confusing situation indeed, she acted alone.

Yes, it was ninjaed by one of our members who was kicked instantly for not listening to my command. I see no point denying this and you implying that I should is just childish...

I would not like to further this finger pointing as it leads to just more confusion and slandering. Expect no answere from me.

katrik says "I changed to free for all and then back to master looter as quickly as possible" - except according to OP's screenshot, it took you 4 SECONDS to do this. it DEFINITELY doesn't take 4 seconds to switch to FFA and back to ML. anyone can test this ingame - it should take less than a second if you have any idea how to play WOW.

on top of that, 40 people were waiting around for the loot, so you knew the chance of getting ninjaed was extremely high. so how the hell did it take you 4 seconds to change loot? either you're the most incompetent raid leader in history or there was a shady loot conspiracy as others in this thread have mentioned.
