The arguments against making the channel server owned instead of player owned are just ridiculous. There is so much exploiting of admin rights in world it's sick. You even see morons posting on these forums openly admitting they banned people for lolz.

There was never a world chat channel on blizzards servers. The current world wide lfg channel in WOD is not player owned. Shock and awe.

Player created channels have nothing to do with the staff, don't like how a player created channel is being used? leave and make yourself one or just stick to 1/ and /2.

Either make your own, since it's a player owned popularity based system, or deal with it. Let me do some of the legwork for you. There's a large population of people butthurt that they can't talk in that world chat hosted by whoever, so make your own, and use them to populate it and have them tell their friends etc. Supply and demand.
