Yes, but you do realize that when you're killing an opposing faction character that's like 20 levels below you that there is an actual human being on the other end who is getting frustrated and angry that they're unable to stop you or fight back?

I think the real issue here is that gankers either get off on causing misery or are unable to have any sympathy/empathy for another human being. It's shitty, pathetic behavior, justified by telling other people to stop crying and "get good".

I await all the intelligent responses to this post.

There are various solutions to prevent getting ganked such as calling for help or looking for another zone to level in. That's what people should do instead of crying and post shit on the forums.

I personally gank lowbies only when I'm passing through leveling zones(stv for example) but if someone is delicated enough to feel miserable and depressed for that they should start looking for solutions like I mentioned above or simply quit. After all it's a PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER realm and people getting their feelings touched for such thing are not okay.

I honestly don't understand the "ganking" mindset. I make several assumptions which seem to fit the behavior I've seen in this game and online in general. I admit that I take an antagonistic position because I hate getting ganked myself, but I am really directing my vitriol towards people who habitually gank.

What do people get out of habitually killing characters 20 levels lower than they are? It's not Honor or XP or gold... so what is it?

Even better when they log into a alt to whisper you on your faction because I know I've gotten to them personally and they probably type out their "lol u cnt fight people ur own lvls" with tears in their eyes. Gives me a rush and can't help but smile, because I'm a fucking edgelord.

Eh...I see it from both points of view. Yes, it's annoying for the other player (like PanTheSatyr wrote) but it's meant to be two factions are war so it's kinda acceptable plus...if you don't like it then don't go on PvP?

It's true that I don't get rewards such as hks from killing lowbies, however I like to help people from my own faction and contradict the opposite in any way possible whether it's by killing max levels, lowbies, quest givers, flight masters, etc...

I view it as "if it's red is dead" as some would say and it's not my problem if people get their feelings hurt, all I'm doing its playing the game, if they don't like it they should look for solutions or simply quit, period.

I'm with you 100% on this. Was killed last night by ?? Druid in Red Ridge like 6 times in a row. Was frustrated but would call it mad... Honestly all I could think of was why bother to do this over and over. Not with honor and while its contested area there are no quest for horde in this area nor any real point to be there. The only thing I could think of was someone's feelings were hurt because they were ganked so they logged over to their higher level to do the same to other low levels....

This happens I'm on a pvp server, but to kill a grey player over and over is just griefing. Sure not against TOS, but serves no purpose. When I see a grey player I tend to leave them alone unless they provoke a reason to kill them. If you are in my level range then game on. If your ?? to me I accept its 100% up to you if your gonna be a dick or not.

Sure it's pvp and we are at war. However if you cannot consider your motivation to why your doing this I feel concern for you and your level of maturity.
