Not sure about you guys but if you've actually *played* HKO you'd know it can put other grinds to shame, and there's not even a character specific level system, meaning no matter how many mobs you kill for your drops, it doesn't progress your level. Worse, the rng is just torture for when you're trying to get certain materials. Professions are also a massive pita to level as a result. If you're trying to pick some sort of casual title on the fly to make a joke, HKO isn't exactly the representative I'd use to make your funny.

Lol 5 Days ago when i hit lvl 30 it was impossible to do quests in Hillsbrad man i got ganked like 20 times before i abonded all of my quests and went to SM, did it a couple of times ......

I've always liked PvE over PvP servers, especially in vanilla, because the things you'd want to participate in outside of griefing in pvp, would happen regardless of whether or not the server had a pvp ruleset.

Several times per day, people would be fighting in XR or Hillsbrad, outside orgrimmar or stormwind.

But I digress. I realize pve servers won't be popular before everything works the way it did in actual vanilla. At least the PvP is as close as it gets to the vanilla experience.

It's in their own interrest to consider a PVE server too keep the playerbase that they have built here.
If they dont implement a PVE server, some other new private server will, and all the people that dislikes getting ganked repeatedly will migrate there instead.
And once migration begins the server is left to the inevitable slow population decrease death (what eventually forced Blizzard to all those server mergers).
So, I would guess a PVE server is likely considered, and hopefully also coming in a near future, if nothing else out of self preservation reasons

Is there a faction split on this? It seems to be mainly Horde players who passionately defend pvp realm status and alliance who would prefer pve.

I don't want to split the server population. It's really not that hard to level up. You get ganked sometimes but you still get through leveling. Just avoid the super PVP heavy zones like Ashenvale and STV if it bugs you that much.

I want to spit the server up. Let the toxic crusaders stay on their PVP server and have their ganking orgies all day long. I'll take a PVE server any day of the week.
