Personally I'd like to have it be about 3 guilds on both sides and a little longer wait time between content release.

I'm getting the vibe that this server is rushing through content and will very soon no longer be relevant, which is sad for something that could last for very long. I feel this rushed content will push away many people that will move to other progression servers, now that they are opening up almost left and right.

I can't think of any good reason to rush through the content like this.

This is starting to feel more like a 'see how fast you can rush through vanilla' and then be done with it, rather than experiencing vanilla wow again and enjoying it. A lasting experience and place you can play for a very long time.

I think it'll push many people away very quickly if we rush through content, making everything obsolete super fast.

I definitely agree with what you are saying, quite a few of my friends from retail and other realms have started playing here but are now re considering due to the rush in content and the fact 2 guilds have already cleared MC, and I'm also reconsidering with them. Don't get me wrong, these guilds have done well to achieve this and most probably worked hard, however, in my own opinion I don't think MC should have been instantly available to the point it has been cleared by 2 guilds in the first few weeks of release. This causes a chain reaction now meaning the future content will be the same.

Staaaaahp... srsly ppl content timeline for progress competition is fine... why wait with release longer?
cuz gear advantage in pvp? Lol scrubs l2p (hint killing is not the objective)
most of u came here to see well scripted aq or naxx, u should be all fine, just progress in your speed in your guild...

It's also so the devs will have enought time so the releases are working properly stop being so egotistic.

imo at least 10 guilds should clear something before moving on, so we dont go by the pace of botters/dupers/cheaters/exploiters

The devs said before release of nost that the content is already scripted...
In fact u guys are egoistic because u want to slow the first kill competition...
Give me one good reason why content release should be slowed in a 10 year old game?
dont bring up gear or blizzlike...

I agree that the release of BWL (and dire maul as well) should both be delayed at least a month, but not 6 months as that would be too excessive. Maybe 1-3 months.

The majority of us aren't even 60 yet and I feel it would upset a lot of people (myself included) if more content gets released too quickly. Many of us want to be able to enjoy the content without freaking out about being left in the dust because we cannot possibly match the pace of the super hard core players like the ones who have already cleared MC

Why left in the dust? the content is ready for you whenever your guild is ready!
u can all progress in your own speed! what exactly is your point?

Honest question, but why do folks want Dire Maul delayed? It was released before the 1st Raggy kill afterall in retail.

Having things scripted is one thing having them working good enough for release is one other, for example ragnaros didn't even drop loot when he was killed first time.

I'm in favour of slow release of content. Especially now that it turns out there are in fact quite a few bugs in content that was supposed to be bug free. I suggest the devs take some more time for making sure future content is really bug free.

6 months what? I dont think Retail vanilla wow took over 2 years.

Uhm, november 2004 - januari 2007?
