Doesn't really matter to me either way. I did find sick enjoyment in not being able to afford stuff and having to farm in vanilla though. :D Maybe because there was a good chance of PvP or something interesting to happen.

Exactly, that was just sarcasm.

That's how it's been working, although I change my spec so many times, I have to deal with it !

I have never understood why is there a charge for that at all.
Sure it makes you feel that the choice matters, but does it?
Arent the disadvantages bigger, like you want to do both pvp and pve every day, you need two chars for that, or lot of gold.

I'm looking for the most authentic vanilla experience, even the annoying gold sinks. Keep it at 50g.

I have an idea, let's make a script that stock every PO spent on respec and at the end of the month it gives all the NPC's money to me. Sounds good right ?

People have changed my mind.
They should keep it at max 50 gold. It forces you to prioritize and make decisions. If it isn't a severe enough penalty for making this decision, then there is no reason to have a cost in the first place.

We shouldn't talk about it right now, it's better to see about that when it will really be a problem like a lack of people in BG or too many people with the wrong spec in raid (but the penalty should be given by the guild in that case)

Well, i'm sorry to say it that way, but for many many many people, unless Nostalrius is way superior, the decision will be to play on a server that allows you to PvP and PvE.
In the incoming "Kronos or Nostalrius?" threads, this will be a huge plus for one side.
