When will we move out of the 1.4 patch?

Thanks! Why is the server patch listed as 1.12.1?

The client is 1.12.1 but, Loot Tables are pre 1.4 so 1.2 & 1.3 | bosses are pre-nerf | Some items / consumables / profession items aren't in-game | only pre 1.4 quests are in-game and so on, it's because no other server has done this yet and it's more nostalgic.

Because we're on client 1.12.1 which equals 1.12.1 talents you can't change that stuff without changing client versions and that would be really annoying to do everytime they patched in an update.

Blackwing Lair was released in patch 1.6, so it would be odd for this server to get patch 1.4 after Nefarian is dead.

I believe it was said that items are updated to 1.4 stats a month after Ragnaros and Onyxia were first downed.

That whole thing seems to originate from your posterior as BWL was released with patch 1.6.

I remember reading a comment saying we are suppose to get AV in July. AV was released in content 1.5.0 so I would imagine 1.4.x should happen in a couple months.

Aside: a few days after launch I spotted Darkmoon Faire outside Thunder Bluff. According to the patches this was released in patch 1.7.0. Is Nostalrius releasing content on a different schedule, or releasing hybrid patches consisting of content from different patches?
